Fare Thee Well

It's Thursday which is a big day for Tara and Whitney. Wanted to say good luck with the eyeballs Whitney, I have heard amazing things about that surgery, I actually think my sister is getting it. And Tara, have a great and rewarding trip to New Orleans. What an amazing thing you are doing, I am so proud of you!

Tara I feel you on the London bit, I can't believe our 1 year anniversary is coming up! Makes me sad. You know, for everything else in my life that I've enjoyed, I've been like, oh it was great, but I wouldn't go back to it, it's done. But not last year, I really would give anything to be starting that phase of my life over again.

Whitney I got your absolutely amazing invitation in the mail 2 days ago. You and Chelsie have the best taste, and despite hating the planning of the wedding I know you 2 are going to have the most beautiful weddings ever. I just wish I could be there:( But thank you both for the invite, it really means a lot to me. Chelsie how's the new home? I bet you're havinga blast, despite your hesitations. It's an adjustment, but I'm sure you'll grow to love it.

I am back in NYC now after spending all last week (with 2 weekends) back home in NC. It was a great 9 days. I went to a wedding of Tara'a and my friend from London down in Chapel HIll. It was nice to be back there after only having been there once in the past year. I spent the night down there with some friends from college and had a great time. Lots of family time (and of course animal time) that week which was wonderful, I miss them all so much. Then I was a bridesmaid in my college roommate's wedding the following weekend. That was so bizarre, but awesome to be a part of. It was a beautiful wedding and I was really happy to be there. Saw all of my friends from college that week, which is always a plus!

Now back to work, which in 2 weeks slows down considerably for the summer. Shorter hours because school's out, can't complain there! And I have applied to be the assistant coach for the girls JV basketball team this coming year! A letter was circulating the school saying they needed someone, and I was so excited about it, I really hope it works out! Granted I haven't played in forever, but back in the day I was quite the baller, ha. So we'll see, I'm meeting with the athletic director next week. I just think it would be really fun to be around the kids.

I am apartment searching right now. My girl roommate right now and I are moving into a place with Jenny, my friend from HS/college who has been living in Queens, hopefully mid-July. I love my place now, but now that Jen is staying, we've alwyas wanted to live in NYC together, and I love Kim and she and Jen get along really well so we're going to do that. Plus, I really can't imagine living with Josh for that much longer. He is so dirty to the point where I just get annoyed when I walk into my door. I feel like a mom who has this giant, hairy kid that she has to pick up after. No more, thanks. If I am going to sign a lease, it's gonna be with friends that I really do want to live with.

I have 4 friends coming into town this weekend! Ricki, one of my buddies from college and, and her boyfriend, who are staying with me, then another friend from the NC CPK/ UNC who will be in town and has a soft spot for kareoking, like me:) It will be good to see him, I haven't since graduation, which I can't believe was a year ago. AND Pammy, another friend of Tara's and mine from London. Like whoa, what a weekend coming up!

Ok girls, this has been a long one, sorry. Still missing you all like crazy, and thinking about you all of the time.
