Beantown or Bust

Wow!!

We have now all officially posted something on the blog!! Congratulations everyone ;-)

Right this second, I am writing all of you lovely ladies from my teeny little apartment in Boston. Weird. It is hard to believe that I actually live here...I'm sure it will all eventually sink in though! And....I want visitors!! Seriously...there are lots of mischievious things for us to get into here. And....Whit, there will be very little hiking ;-)

All is very good for me...I must admit, though, I am quite homesick...well, pretty much, people-I-love-the-most-sick, but I know I'll eventually get used to being away.

The week before I moved was a crazy one for me...so many (tearful) goodbyes and things to get done, but somehow I managed to remain one piece through it all (I'm not at all good at good-byes).

Unfortunately, I sort of met someone right before I moved...but I also sort of shut my feelings down and kept pushing him away because I think I was afraid of getting hurt- and taking someone "with me"...I had always planned to do this all alone, with no strings. We still talk though, he's pretty much called me everyday since I left...I don't know what is going to happen...but I'm really not going to stop looking while I'm here. We technically aren't even really a couple...oh, whatever...It will all work out how it's supposed to.

Another very exciting event that happend two weekends ago, was that I got baptized!! I was when I was a baby, but my church sort of believes in adults making informed choices to have it done, and encourage people to do it again if the choose. So...I'm feeling good and I've been meeting some people here that are friends of some of my friends from my home church.

Oh, girls...I miss you all so very much. I love hearing about your lives and hope you're all well.
