Merry Christmas!

hey girls! it's been a while since i've last written...sorry! so today was kind of a sad day....i'm supposed to leave for colorado today to go home and ski. our flight left at 6:15 today and when we were checking in at 5:30 the united workers were like "we're offering 2 free round trip tickets to each person who will give up their seat." what a deal! so brian and i elected to wait until the afternoon flight which we were guaranteed go get on. i mean four free roundtrip tickets! (one of which we are planning on using to come to boston!!!) so a few hours later a blizzard rolls into denver and they cancel all afternoon flights into denver :( go figure that the one time we give up our seats and elect for the later flight it gets cancelled. just my luck. so now i'm still sitting here in winnebago....waiting to get on tomorrow. (hopefully) anyways, things have been going well. substitute teaching in rockford sucked!! SUCKED! worst thing ever. but it was okay b/c i only had to do it for 2 weeks and then i found another job as a chiropracter's assistant...which is much better. and i work with really fun people. i like it for the most part. so that was nice. everything else is pretty much same old same old. brian is still doing well in school. he did have to have surgery a few weeks ago however. you'll recall that on our honeymoon brian got the brunt of montezuma's revenge and had a nasty bout of diarrhea for the entire week...and for a few weeks after we got home. when everything seemed to have resolved, he started having more butt problems and went to the doctor, where the doctor diagnosed him with an internal hemorrhoid. after three weeks of nasty suppository usage, he finally got a colorectal surgeon consult where he an abscess/fistula was found and needed to be drained/excised. soo disgusting. so he went in for surgery and for the surgery he had to lie there in stirrups...like at the OBGYN...haha...so funny. the surgery went well and i think we finally have resolved the butt issues. but after the surgery his butt kept draining for a few days so he had to wear a pad! hahaha. i made fun of him so bad!! haha. maybe he finally understands what it's like to be a girl :) anyways, i think i'm gonna go shopping now since i'm not in colorado skiing like i had planned. booooo. i love you guys and want to wish you a MErry CHristmas and Happy NEw Year!! have wonderful holidays everyone!!!

quickie

hey girls,
this will be a quickie, but one of my grad. school classes is based on cooperative learning, so we all split up the chapters of our textbooks and each was made responsible for teaching the other classmates the chapters we were assigned and we all did it through blogger. so, needless to say, every time i sign on i've read and reread our blogs first. anyway, i'll for sure write more later, but i'm sick tonight and this is my last week of school and i literally have never had so much work. but, michael and i are leaving to visit london on wednesday, and i'm so excited, but i seriously think i might cry b/c i know i'll miss you all so much (i'm for sure taking him to see the generator...he'll finally understand what crappy places we stayed in). so, i'll write a long blog when we get back and i'm on break. i miss you all desperately and thank God that you are all in my life. mwah! mwah! mwah!
